Hi! My name is Mi'chy (Mee-chee) and I have 3 great passions in my life, Jesus, my children and your hair.
Jesus: To whom all of this and more I owe! His salvation is priceless. He is my Rock, my Sanity and my Joy. Without Him I would not be in my right mind. Jesus my Love, my King; this is for You.
My Children: I was 17 when I had my first child, by the time I was 23 I had given birth to 5 children. Terri died 2 days after giving birth to her. My youngest son David was taken to New York at a very young age and 20 years later is still residing there. I've raised 3 beautiful children (Kashinya, Randolph, and Lisa) whom I love very dearly. I now have the most precious grand daughter Eli'che. She is walking and loving her grand-ma very much. I want to leave something for my children when I finally leave this earth.
Your Hair: Hair tranformation can brighten someone's day. There is nothing like having someone smile at them selves in the mirror after recieving services, then thanking you many times before actually leaving the salon. Often people come in the shop and just want that great shampoo so they can tell you about your massaging technique and fall asleep right there in front of your eyes.
As a stylist I listen to my clients ups and downs, so by the time they leave the salon they not only look better outside, they feel better inside. We laugh together, listen to Mozart or Chris Botti for relaxtion, we may watch DVDs or discuss family or world events. Sometimes we simply enjoy some well deserved silence. There are times when some days start off not so great, but by the time the appointment is over, we laughed our problems away!
Doing hair is more than a style, it's a life, it's a change in someones day. It's my passion. I am truly excited to be a part of an industry where we not only bring out your outer beauty, but to also be a part of building self esteem, one client at a time!
